Odyssey of RNA Uxbridge
A brilliant opportunity to explore the history of the Royal Navy in Uxbridge. The booklet - RNA Uxbridge - written by S/M Alan Benn, with contributions from founder members of the RNA Uxbridge Branch, and published in 1999 provides a unique picture of the journey of our RNA branch from the mid 1930's to the millenium. Divide into five chapters; Chapter 1 covers the early years and the successes and decline of the first RNA Uxbridge Branch. Chapter 2 describes the regeneration of the branch. Chapter 3 explores stories of founder members. Chapter 4 combines ceremony and social activities through the years. Finally chapter 5 recalls the charity events that have remained a prominent part of the clubs life and remembers those who have crossed the bar.
